On Thursday May 12th, the whole of Phase 1 went on a trip to the Streetlife Museum in Hull. This was linked to our Transport topic that we have been enjoying over the Summer term 1.
Beth, our tour guide, asked us lots of different questions about the types of transport we were looking at. Here we are looking at a furniture delivery van!
This is a 1950's bus! We all got to sit on it and Beth read us a story. We liked the bus, it had very comfy seats!
Beth quizzed us on what type of transport we thought she might work on. It turned out to be a tram! Hull used to have its own tram system many years ago.
This is the tram that Beth worked on and she gave tickets to us all to get on board. The tram was very big and travelled on thin tram lines.
This is an old Hull City council van. We all really liked it because it was so brightly coloured.
After our lunch and learning lots of new information about transport, we enjoyed getting some fresh air in the beautiful museum gardens.
